penile agenesis - Congenital absence of the penis, caused by developmental failure of the genital tubercle. The phallus is completely absent, including the corpora cavernosa and corpus spongiosum; however, some children have been reported to have small portions of corpora cavernosa. Usually, the scrotum is normal and the testes are maldescended. The urethra opens at any point of the perineal midline from over the pubis to, most frequently, the anus or anterior wall of the rectum.

Micropenis - a term used by doctors for when a person has a penis that is very small and is completely differentiated (developed like a typical penis) with the urethral meatus (“pee-hole”) at the tip. The criteria for clinical diagnosis include that a person has: a 46,XY karyotype (typical male karyotype); testes that are either descended or undescended; an urethral meatus (“pee-hole”) at the tip of the glans penis (that is, no hypospadias), and a stretched penis length at or below 2.5 standard deviations for age and stage of development.

Genderqueer - those who identify their gender outside the gender binary system of male and female, maybe fluid with gender presentation or not conform to gender norms and may use gender neutral pronouns such as “sie, hir, hir, hirs, hirself” or “zie, zir, zir, zirs, zirself” or choose to use the pronoun closest to the end of the masculine or feminine spectrum they are presenting. Some may do some or all of medical transition or none at all. Some may change their birth name. #CSPHwordoftheday
