Organization Information: The Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center is a non profit organization whose mission is to provide comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and to provide education and awareness on the issue of domestic violence.

Job Description: 

Primary responsibility to implement the Law Enforcement Program in conjunction with the Central Falls Police Department, Cumberland Police Department, Lincoln Police Department and Day One.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide information and assistance to police officers working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Meet with victims either on scene (with police accompaniment), at department or hospital, following the incident or within a few days as a follow up.
• Assist with training programs for police officers, community members and other agencies on domestic violence and sexual assault issues.
