This has got to be one of the coolest things I’ve seen on Tumblr! BODIES ARE SO COOL.
Fascinating picture of ovulation in action - when a mature ovarian follicle ruptures (about halfway through the menstrual cycle) and releases an ovum, or egg. Mind. Visually. Blown.
